What data we process

Account data: your email address and display name (if provided). You can use the app without an account.

Location: only with your permission and only while the app is open, to compute nearby places, distances and directions. Your location is NOT stored on the server against your identity.

Usage statistics: screens opened, items tapped, places, routes and events viewed, and searches you make (including the search text). Each measurement carries the app version, operating system version, device model, app language and the municipality you selected. Your name, email or location coordinates are NOT sent. Measurements are device-level; if you are signed in, your account identifier (user number only) is added, so in that case the measurements are linked to your account.

Approximate location: the analytics service (Mixpanel) derives a city- and country-level approximate location from the IP address of the connection sending the measurement. This is NOT the precise location obtained through your device’s location permission.

Content you create: saved places, reviews and photos you upload.

Device identifier: a random identifier generated when the app is first opened and stored on your device. It is used to keep your chat history on your device when you are not signed in and to group usage statistics per device; it is NOT an advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID).

Why we process it

To provide the service: show nearby places, give directions, carry your saved items across devices.

To help the municipality improve: report which content draws interest, as AGGREGATE numbers that do not identify individuals.

To improve the app: use usage statistics to understand which features are used, where people get stuck and whether searches return results. This data is NOT used for advertising, targeted profiling or tracking your activity across other apps and websites.

Security and abuse prevention.

Who we share it with

Your data is not sold or shared for advertising.

Infrastructure providers required to run the service: hosting and database (Supabase), maps (Mapbox), directions and place data (Google Maps Platform), file storage (Cloudflare R2), notifications (Expo), AI answers (Google Gemini). Only the minimum data needed for that operation is sent.

Messages you write to the AI assistant are sent to Google Gemini to generate a reply. Your identity is not sent.

Usage statistics are sent to the product analytics service Mixpanel (Mixpanel, Inc.) and stored in Mixpanel’s European Union data center. Views of places, routes, events and similar content are also written to our own database (Supabase) and reported to the municipality only as aggregate numbers.

How long we keep it

Account data: until you delete your account.

Chat history: linked to your account (or to your device if signed out), until you delete it.

Usage statistics: retained for analysis. When you delete your account, your account identifier is removed from the measurements in our own database.

Your rights

You can delete your account FROM WITHIN THE APP: Profile > Delete my account. Deletion is irreversible; your account and personal link are removed.

You can turn usage statistics off at any time: Profile > Settings > Usage statistics. When turned off, measurements waiting on the device are deleted and no new measurements are sent.
